The Challenge

Military medical groups rely on manual, paper-based, or spreadsheet-driven personnel accountability during exercises, real-world events, and daily operations. These processes are slow, error-prone, and impossible to audit in real time.

The 19th Medical Group needed accurate headcount visibility across flights and units, secure role-based access, instant leadership updates, and auditable accountability records.

The Solution

FORGE, the Flight Operations Readiness & Group Accountability Engine, replaces manual roll call with a real-time, role-based system designed for military medical group operations.

  • Five-tier RBAC from Airman through Commander with JWT authentication
  • WebSocket-powered updates across every open dashboard
  • Flight-level and group-level views with drill-down capability
  • Automated individual-to-flight-to-group status roll-up
  • Event logging for accountability audits and after-action reporting

DHA Software Factory Pilot

FORGE was selected as a pilot project for the Defense Health Agency Innovation Cell's Software Factory model.

  • React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, WebSocket, and JWT
